Bilingualism is a key component of the University’s of Ottawa’s identity. It is all around us—in the programs and services we provide; in our daily interactions with students, colleagues and partners; and in the values that we embody as an institution. However, are your practices with regard to them compliant?
On completion of this training, you will be able to:
- Understand the importance of bilingualism in the University community and their potential impact
- Take tangible, daily action in line with best practices to promote bilingualism
- Make informed decisions by referring to existing regulations when faced with ambiguous situations or complaints
