French as a Second Language Course: November 14 to December 14, 2022 - Monday and Wednesday 11:30 am – 1 pm
* Participants must complete the online placement test prior to registration. Complete the Placement Test for OLBI’s Personnel Courses.
Course description:
Basic French for “false-beginners” focussing on speaking and writing skills. Review of basic production skills (pronunciation, grammar and spelling, and vocabulary). Basic conversation practice and short writing tasks. Authentic material drawn from the university context will be used wherever possible. Individual and group practice. This course is designed for individuals with some basic knowledge of French.
