French as a Second Language Course: October 4 to November 15, 2022 -Tuesday and Thursday 8 am – 9:30 am
* Participants must complete the online placement test prior to registration. Complete the Placement Test for OLBI’s Personnel Courses.
Course Description:
Review and continuous development of reading and writing strategies. Exploit and revise the linguistic characteristics of different types of texts. Observation of these patterns and reinvestment in reading tasks: identification of addressee, theme, main and secondary ideas, cohesion markers, text progression, etc., as well as writing tasks: note-taking, memo writing, short reports, emails, etc. Reinforcement of grammatical and lexical knowledge. Individualized practice.
