The 12 hour workshop will allow employees to acquire the competencies needed to provide mental health first aid.
Employees must attend the mandatory 12 hours of training to obtain their Mental Health First Aid Certificate.
Participants will learn about the four categories of mental illness. The training will enable them to better recognize symptoms of mental health problems and improve their confidence in providing help to others to guide them towards appropriate resources for care.
