Ergonomics

This seminar is especially valuable for industrial and labor-intensive work environments, where repetitive tasks, awkward postures, and manual handling are common. We emphasize how ergonomics - fitting the task to the worker - can reduce strain, improve efficiency, and prevent injuries, including:
• Common risk factors for back injuries in industrial settings
• Basic overview of spinal anatomy and biomechanics (with a spine model demonstration)
• Frequently observed back injuries and how they develop
• Ergonomic strategies to minimize pain and discomfort on the job
• Safe and adapted postures for lifting, bending, and reaching
• The role of fitness in injury prevention, including stretching and strengthening exercises
