This training is designed for all users of the analytical X-ray device.

This training is primarily designed for all users of an analytical X-ray device. It’s mandatory for all X-ray emitting device users.

Topics covered in this training include:

  • Legislation  
  • X-ray fundamentals
  • Biological and health effects
  • X-ray safety in the laboratory

To receive your training certificate, you need to complete the training quiz and achieve a score of at least 75%.

Important Note: If you’ll be working with an open X-ray beam or an open-beam X-ray machine, you must receive practical training from the permit holder or the lab delegate and complete an X-Ray User Registration Form.

Refresher training is required every four years. Users whose training certificate is older than four years must complete the training again.
