Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Awareness
Participants will:
-learn to identify the two basic hazards associated with energized electrical equipment and the injuries that can result from these two hazards.
-gain knowledge of electrical hazards, the safety standards and regulations that apply, and how to assess and control the risk associated with these hazards.
-identify and practice methods to select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for shock and arc flash.
Related safety topics covered will include lockout of electrical equipment and care, maintenance and testing of PPE, Industry best practice procedures and techniques
