This brief session is meant to acclimate everyday users of ladders, step ladders, and step stools to hazards posed while working at nominal heights in everyday settings such as offices, labs, and light industrial areas. The session serves to introduce:
- Types of ladders;
- Legislative references;
- Common hazards when working at nominal heights;
- How to recognize and correct hazards;
- Proper set-up and use of a common step ladder;
- Care and storage of your ladder.
