FLS 1600: Beginner: Introduction to basic French

French as a Second Language Course: October 3 to December 14, 2022 - Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 am – 1 pm
* Participants must complete the online placement test prior to registration. Complete the Placement Test for OLBI’s Personnel Courses.
Course description:
Introduction to basic French focussing on all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Listening practice with audio/audiovisual materials. Reading practice with short texts. Basic conversation practice and short writing tasks. Authentic material drawn from the university context will be used wherever possible. Individual and group practice. This course is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of French.
