Course description:
Introduction to basic English language Speaking and Writing skills including grammar, vocabulary, spelling and pronunciation. Development of oral communication skills through guided conversation and short presentations related to the university workplace. Written expression at the sentence level. Language learning strategies for language production in the university context.
Cours d’initiation aux notions de base de l’anglais centré sur les habiletés de production orale et écrite. Activités de perfectionnement de la communication orale à travers des conversations dirigées et de courts exposés reliés au milieu du travail. Exercices d’expression écrite au niveau de la phrase et présentation de stratégies de production langagière en contexte universitaire.
