This professional development program complements / adds professional and transferable skills to your degree that will make a difference.

Stand out in the job market by participating in 6 of the 10 (bilingual) virtual workshops offered by the Altitude program. Come learn more about professional development, thesis writing strategies… and advice and tips on research, stress management and much more.

Dates
From September 29, 2020 – December 3, 2020
Every Tuesday and Thursday
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Eligibility
You just need to be a graduate student enrolled at the University of Ottawa. Registration is open for the fall term until September 25, 2020.

To finish the program, you must complete at least 6 of the 11 workshops of your choice during the semester. This includes the following steps:

  • Complete the preparatory readings.
  • Attend the virtual workshops.
  • Participate in the discussion groups.
  • Fill-out the satisfaction surveys.
  • Write a one-page self-reflection essay about your experience, at the end of the program.
  • Share your experience!

At the end, you will receive a certificate and a micro-credential for your LinkedIn.

IMPORTANT: The virtual training will be presented on TEAMS via a connection link made available to you on Brightspace (Only to registered participants).

It is strictly forbidden to record the session in order to preserve the confidentiality of the words exchanged during the activity.

This workshop is bilingual, which means French, English or both languages will be used, depending the preference of the participants.

Therefore, you must be able to understand and follow instructions in both official languages.

You may ask questions in your language of choice and will be answered in that language.
