Workshops offered by Altitude are reserved exclusively to graduate students, doctoral and postdoctoral fellows. A fee may be charged in case of non-excused absence.

One of the realities of our times is the presence of stress in our lives. However, what do we know about it, its mechanisms and symptoms? It is possible to reduce the harmful effects of stress and learn how to prevent them. The objectives of this presentation are:

 • Understand what stress is and how it relates to anxiety

• Become familiar with the signs and symptoms of stress

 • Learn about useful strategies to mitigate its adverse effects
