This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the major training awards program at the Federal Level (CIHR, SSHRC ,NSERC) in each of the major research disciplines ( Health and Medicine, Arts/ Social Sciences and Pure and applied Science) at the Master, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level.

The workshop will be presented in two parts. The discussion will begin by a review of major training awards at the Doctoral and Master level both at the Canadian level and via agencies specifics funding programs followed by an examination of the different funding opportunities at the postdoctoral level both a the Canadian level and agency specifics. 

The workshop will review and discuss eligibility criteria, proposal writing and submission process, evaluation criteria and process, and approbation.
