The landscape of scholarly publishing is constantly changing making it difficult for authors to choose an appropriate journal to which they will submit their manuscripts. Discover how to apply various criteria when selecting a publishing venue, weigh the pros and cons of impact metrics, and increase the reach of your research through open access during this hands-on workshop.
Participants attending this workshop will be able to:
· Determine which journals are published in their area of research
· Determine a journal’s impact factor by using Journal Citation Reports
· Understand and retain author rights when publishing
· Make an educated decision about open access
