Women Faculty, Let's Talk

An initiative from the Center's original mandate to implement a specific school leadership strategy for women: a discussion group for uOttawa's regular professors on practical and accessible solutions.

The goal is to support women faculty so that they can break the gender culture, discuss relevant topics that affect them on a daily basis, be informed and equipped to take their places on campus and build a network.

During 2019-2020, six get-togethers with relevant themes. You can sign up for only one session or for all those which are of interest.

October 9th: Diversity and Inclusion

November 20th: Hands-on workshop on career planning

December 11th: The mid-career phase

January 23th: Work-life balance 

February 27th: Getting more women out there

April 2nd: Engaging with conflict

This workshop is bilingual, which means French, English or both languages will be used, depending the preference of the participants.

Therefore, you must be able to understand and follow instructions in both official languages.

You may ask questions in your language of choice and will be answered in that language.
