Women Faculty, Let's Talk

An initiative from the Center's original mandate to implement a specific school leadership strategy for women: a discussion group for uOttawa's regular professors on practical and accessible solutions.

The goal is to support women faculty so that they can break the gender culture, discuss relevant topics that affect them on a daily basis, be informed and equipped to take their places on campus and build a network.

During 2018-2019, five get-togethers with relevant themes. You can sign up for only one session or for all those which are of interest.

November 1st: Challenges in advancing university women

December 13th: Career Strategies

January 24th: Implicit Bias

February 28th: Work-life Balance

April 4th: Negotiation and Communication
