Description
Policies and Procedures
This virtual workshop addresses the changes brought about by the revised policy and its impacts.
At the beginning of November 2020, Procurement announced the launch of the new and improved Policy 36 - Procurement.
This virtual workshop addresses the changes brought about by the revised policy and its impacts. It is intended for designated buyers (also known as decentralized buyers) within faculties and services, although any employee wanting to better understand the policy changes may also find it useful.
At the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to list and explain the key changes brought about by the revised Policy 36. Also, the workshop will provide a platform to discuss real-life examples, and answer day-to-day questions.
We ask that designated buyers attend the workshop that is specific to their faculty or service, but if that date is inconvenient, they can attend any workshop.
Prerequisites:
Prior to attending this workshop, attendees must read both the revised revised Policy 36 and, if available, the related revised Procedure 4-3 (release date: mid-February), and view the video presentation, which provides a basic overview of changes to the policy.
